ABOUT STEVEN N. LONG

Mr. Long has nearly 25 years of professional experience in the court system, and has practiced law in eastern North Carolina for nearly 19 years.  Mr. Long grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He attended college at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The School of Criminal Justice.  After graduating from college, Mr. Long served as a police officer with the Winston-Salem Police Department and also served as a magistrate in Davidson County, North Carolina.  In order to further his career opportunities in the legal system, Mr. Long continued his education at The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.  Mr. Long has practiced law exclusively in eastern North Carolina since 2003.  Early in his career Mr. Long served as an Assistant District Attorney for Craven, Carteret, and Pamlico counties.  Mr. Long's diverse professional experiences and unique skill set distinguishes him from other attorneys.  Mr. Long represents clients in Craven, Pamlico, and Jones counties.
